Following the injury to Ben Coker, manager Phil Brown has moved quickly to bring in Crystal Palace’s young left back Jerome Binnom-Williams.

The England youth international joins us on a one month youth loan and if all goes well, the deal should be extended for the maximum 93 days to provide further cover Coker.

Having come through Palace’s youth ranks, he went on to make his debut in the league cup against Bristol City back in 2013 and he’s had a previous loan spell out with Forest Green Rovers, where he took in four senior appearances for them.

We have handed him the No 21 shirt for his time with us, and manager Phil Brown told the Official Site that he knows the youngster was very highly rated by former Palace manager Tony Pulis, so with him now more on the fringes following their managerial change, he’s delighted he’s been able to bring him in.

‘Jerome was a player we had on our radar and he was given a squad number by Pulis for this season. Tony took him away on tour this pre season and spoke very highly of him. He trained well on Thursday and will be right in contention for Saturday’s game.’
