The League Managers Association have ranked Southend manager Steve Tilson 7th in the LMA Tissot Ranking’s table.

The Tissot League judges managers on their performance as opposed to just the performance of the team. They give points for across the board performance including consistency, good defence, goals and results. So you’d get points for goals, clean sheets, picking up points in consecutive games etc.

With Steve Tilson 7th he is in very good company with Jose Mourinho at the top of the tree. Coppell (Reading), Warnock (Sheffield Utd) and Sir Alex Ferguson (Man Utd!) make up the top four. Tilson is above Arsene Wenger!
