Timlin Out For The Season

The extent of Michael Timlin’s injury has been fully revealed, with the midfielder definitely out for the season.

A leg injury in the victory over Leyton Orient on Tuesday was a seriously sour note from an otherwise great night for The Shrimpers, with Timlin’s injury confirmed as a fractured tibia.

The 27-year-old needs his leg “pinned and plated” but he is backed to “come back stronger”.

I’m sure that everyone wishes him well in his rehabilitation and hopes to see him back playing soon.
