Tilson blames bad luck

Southend boss Steve Tilson reckoned his side were unlucky, after they exited the FA Cup at the hands of MK Dons on Saturday.

The Shrimpers lost 2-1, their fourth straight loss after an impressive season start.

Tilson said: ‘We had enough chances to have won the game and in the end our defeat was self inflicted.

‘Still, we just have to forget about this setback, we will stick together and get back on track.’
