Match Prediction:

I am sure it will be the sort of match that will have you peering at it through your hands especially if you are a Southend fan.The good news in my opinion is that if there was any team I would like to play now in the Championship at home then it would be Burnley. No disrespect to them as they have games and points in hand over other teams near the bottom so I am sure they will be safe and don’t have as much to play for as the Shrimpers.
I think there will be some goals in it and I am going to stick my neck out and say 3-1 but with some very nervy moments.

Gawd we always seem to play teams these days just as they appear to hit form! Good result for you on Saturday against the Tractor Boys. Nothing but despair at the moment for Clarets fans, not winning in 16 is taking its toll on morale although we have played reasonably well in the last few matches with few points to show for it. Should be a good game, on the basis we have to win sometime,0-1 Clarets but I wont hold my breath!

I think that although they have been struggling big time recently that Burnley are out of the dog fight especially if they were to get a result tonight.Hit form?,well sort of we had a fantastic result against Ipswich where the players litterly died for the cause and got a point with 10 men again (12)including the referee with Leicester but before that we were beaten badly at Sunderland and in the last min:At Sheffield Wednesday. If we play like we know we can I think we should be ok tonight.I expect it to be the sort of game where you harly dare to watch. As I said before if we could pick a team to play at home at this moment it would be Burnley.Don’t take it the wrong way but I am just going on form and because I think you will be safe as I expect you will only need a win and maybe a draw for safety you don’t have as much to play for.Cheers

I think they will need at least a couple of wins but they also have two games in hand so I wouldn’t be so worried if I was a Burnly fan.
I think it will be a good game although very close.I am going for 2-1 to Sufc.

Very poor game with few chances and to be fair I couldn’t see either team scoring all night!Burnley deserved a draw and will feel gutted that they came away with nothing. When Foran came on though there seemed to be a new spark and he took his goal very well.Up the Shrimpers.
