Ricky Duncan has today been appointed Reserve team coach at Southend United, this is despite earlier reports that Steve Tilson and Paul Brush were going to take on the task.
Paul Brush breaks the news on Southend United’s official website, ‘Ricky Duncan is going to push up from the youth team and start taking the reserves and development team as well,’
This I think is much better news that a Tilson / Brush combination as it will allow the 1st team management to really drive on for the rest of the season.
Brush goes on to say….’Sometimes it is better for Steve and me to step back and watch games from a distance as we get more from that.’
