The heartbreak of our League 2 semi final play off defeat to Burton over to legs is still very fresh in the minds, I know I’m still absolutely gutted by this, but we’ve got to move on from it.
Decision towards next season are already being put in place with Phil Brown saying in his interview on the official website that the decision need to be made ‘straight away’ with it a big pre season for us ahead of next season.
He wants winners at the club, those that can be part of something special and want to be part of a winning team are what he wants at Roots Hall next season, which is a season he wants us to end with the same feeling that Chesterfield, Rochdale and Scunthorpe are feeling now having gained automatic promotion.
Players will soon be told if they are part of his plans or now and the vast majority would be, so long as they want to stay.
