Can Southend overcome their jinx at Yeovil Town?
Southend are to be without Wayne Gray on their trip to Yeovil this weekend who is out with a hamstring injury for 3 weeks. Southend haven’t had many happy trips to Huish Park, but are looking to get a win to remain top of the table. Efe Sodje had a ten month spell at Yeovil and is looking for a warm reception from the home crowd.
Lee Bradbury will be keen to get on the score sheet this weekend if he is chosen in the starting line up.
Yeovil will be without skipper Terry Skiverton who had a double hernia operation last week and Scott Guyett is also out recovering from a virus infection.
Yeovil have some new signings appearing for them tomorrow, being Anthony Barry, Jamie Vincent and Daniel Webb, whilst Bradley Thomas will be out due to a match suspension.
Phil Jevons will be looking to add to his two goals which he scored against Hartlepool a couple of weeks ago.
