Southend are looking to keep up the promotion push, and ideally with automatic League 2 promotion and not the need for the play offs, against York on Saturday.

We’re also looking to end a run of three successive nil-nil draws at Roots Hall, we’d take that over defeat mind!

Barry Corr’s out after his sending off against Portsmouth last Saturday, as he became our latest sending off. Corr and Mads Ibenfeldt are the only ones missing for us now that we have Gary Deegan and Cian Bolger both back from suspensions of their own Adam Barrett and Kevan Hurst fit after injury.

York have Michael Ingham and Dave Winfield back with recent signings Emile Sinclair and Mal Benning keeping places. Suspension will keep out Stephane Zubar again with former Southend forward Anthony Straker missing the game against us having left for Motherwell.

Another cleansheet at home would be wonderful, all being well we can do that as well as scoring at least once as well.
