The League 1 season continues with midweek games, with all played on Tuesday. Among this schedule is a game for Southend against Crewe at Roots Hall with this a 7:45pm kick-off.

In the last game a somewhat surprising, you have to say obviously disappointing, three-one defeat was suffered by Southend with us unable to build on the previous win over league leaders Burton at Port Vale.

The damage was done in the first half with Southend three-down by half time!

Carl Dickinson had Port Vale ahead early on before Michael O’Connor added the second on 38-minutes, a couple of minutes later and Ben Coker’s own goal had Vale in command at the break.

Sam McQueen got a goal back for Southend in injury-time with an even later chance for a further consolation passed up when David Mooney put a penalty over as the Blues’ play-off bid, back on track after that Burton win, faltered again with a third defeat in four-matches.

What will happen in this one though?

Cast your vote so we know if you think it’ll be all smiles or disappointment for the Blues come the full time whistle.

The fixtures are.

Southend win
Crewe win

Not only do we want you to cast your vote, which you do to your right, we’re also looking for your thoughts and views too so do share some of those with your comments below.
