The League 1 season continues with weekend games, with all played on Saturday. Among this schedule is a game for Southend against Chesterfield at Roots Hall with this a 3pm kick-off.

In the last game Crewe were the side to breakthrough late on when George Cooper smashed home a freekick from 25-yard freekick to have the second bottom side on for a win, this after Tyrone Barnett had earlier seen a penalty saved by ‘keeper Ben Garratt in the first half.

A Ben Nugent foul on Jamar Loza gave Southend a second chance in the 94th-minute with Jack Payne making no mistake to keep the Blues a point of the play-offs.

What will happen in this one though?
