One of the Shrimpers most experienced defenders Andy Edwards has joined Grays Athletic until the end of the season on loan.
Since Efe Sodje joined Southend earlier this month, Edwards has found himself more on the sidelines, and requested to go out on loan.
Grays who currently are seeking to get another promotion this season, will look at Edwards at the end of the season for a more permanent move.
